I blinked and 2016 was over! It has definitely been an interesting year to say the least. We kept our wanderlust at bay this year with a month-long trip to Vietnam and Thailand, an RV road trip to Moab, a couple of camping trips in the mountains and a beach vacation over Thanksgiving. You can never have enough holidays so we already have some tentative travel plans in the works!
2016 was my first year blogging and I am beyond happy and thankful for how much fun and enriching it has been. I have met the most wonderful people on this journey, from photographers, boutique owners, brand reps, and especially other kick ass bloggers – everyone shared their passion with me, inspired me on a daily basis and made me feel part of this positive and inclusive creative community. All of my followers: thank you! You all are wonderful individuals who are encouraging, supportive and just so so sweet with your feedback.
There have been some major milestones in my life with the sale of my salon business and our impending move to Southeast Asia – something I will touch on in more depth in a subsequent post. For now, goodbye eventful 2016 and welcome 2017! I cannot wait to see what you have in store for us!
We are heading out to a dinner with friends tonight followed by NYE toasts at local Brazen restaurant. My NYE outfit would make any disco ball envious! The golden sequins skirt could blind any bystander so get your shades out lol!
Have a wonderful NYE everyone, see you all in 2017!
