I have this weird thing with vests. I like them and I buy them, and then they disappear into this black hole of my closet. I can’t even tell you why but I don’t even think about any of the many vests I have purchased over the years. Jackets and cardigans – a whole different story. I did, however, finally jump on the long vest bandwagon. I first saw the look in London last summer when shopping on and near Oxford street, admiring all the style mavens rocking long vests. So I went and got this sleeveless nude one a few months ago and it has since become a wardrobe staple. The long flowing vest balances out short shorts or skirts, adding some street chic to the whole look. From behind it looks pretty conservative but when you turn around, BAM! Legs galore! I like surprise effects 😉
