Denim Jackets for Life

Here’s to an incurable obsession that I have with denim jackets. I love a good casual Levi’s fitted one over cute dresses but in recent years they have become ever more over-sized. Something about the slouchy fit that adds a pop of modern boho, grunge or street chic depending on what you’re in the mood for.

I have compiled some of my current favorites in the over-sized jean jacket department.

The crop denim jacket with frayed hems: this gem will give you instant cool girl status with a raw hem that looks like you just busted a big pair of scissors out 2 minutes ago. It also carries this carefree, I-don’t-give-a-crap attitude as in: the jacket was too long, so I just cut it. done.

The over-sized trucker denim jacket:

Another cool chick look with laissez-faire attitude. I love menswear inspired clothing and this looks like something you took out of your boyfriend’s truck when you were out camping in Joshua Tree. Better still: you are out camping in a cute little romper (because that’s what cool chicks do – or maybe just fashion bloggers), it gets chilly and your BF wraps his trucker jacket around you. Eh? Eh? Totally feeling this vibe!
