Endless Summer
Now that I have moved to Saigon, Viet Nam, there are only two seasons I have to worry about: hot and humid and hot and humid with chance of precipitation. Having only slight fluctuations of temperature to worry about definitely makes outfit shopping and planning easier. Endless summer, I love you!
At the time of this writing, I have been travelling for 5 weeks in SE Asia (Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India) and have 3 more weeks left. This voyage has been about 70% beach holiday and therefore my suitcase is accordingly packed with beach and swimwear. There are times when I need to change swimwear and beach attire multiple times a day and oftentimes you go straight from the beach to dinner/drinks so having multi-function attire and accessories is key, think rompers, sarongs and cover-ups that can turn into dresses; espadrilles, hats, sunnies and cute handwoven bags. My ever growing collection of beach essentials will come in handy in Saigon after this trip because we moved into a modern high rise with a swimming pool and you bet I will be taking advantage of that sucker.
I have rounded up some cute beach essentials that are not only stylish for frolicking en la playa but can easily make the transition to post beach lounging/dining or city dwelling. Some of the items pictured I acquired at small market stalls or boutiques that I cannot link but I have found some really cute similar pieces that you can shop. I have also linked some fun summer shoes and sandals even though I’m mostly barefoot out here 😉
Have a fun and fabulous summer!

Botanical Prints
I was super obsessed with botanical prints last summer already, this year it’s shifted from colorful to more green. Palm leaves galore! I admit it.. I’m a palmaholic.
Pom Poms
These cute fluff balls are accessorizing everything at the moment, from dresses, bags, shoes – you name it, they’re there!
Handwoven basket bags
I am obsessed with natural fiber handbags made from straw, linen, rattan or bamboo that are handmade in some of the places I’ve been to on this trip, a lot of them in Bali. I am stoked that they are having a major moment in the fashion world right now.
