It’s mid November. It’s mid 70’s in Denver. I mean I like warm weather but it sure is freaky to have warm weather past Halloween!
This has been the longest fall since I moved here 16 years ago and I’m not mad at it. Although, it may mean that winter will only prolong into spring next year, as that’s exactly what happened this year. I have been itching to wear my faux coats, though, but with the weather being so gorgeous it means really under-dressing underneath so not to get a heat stroke. This totally works for me, as I love big contrasts in my outfits. Long vs short, thick materials vs delicate ones, chic vs edgy – bring it on!
Furry and shaggy coats are all the rage again but please please do not buy real fur. The horrific animal abuse and torture that comes with real fur is not worth a seasonal trend. Faux fur is made to look and feel so real these day, there just isn’t a need to fuel the demand for a bloody industry. Ok, I’m off my soap box now, thanks for listening 🙂
