ki “wear”, mono “thing”
The Japanese word kimono literally means “thing to wear” and it really is THE thing to wear at the moment. It’s a favorite during festival season which is not a no surprise given that it’s a versatile piece that adds some boho/gypsy vibes to any outfit instantly – such an easy way to style up your look. I like a good floral print like the traditional Japanese ones but by now I own half a dozen different designs including solid colors, patterns, silk, satin and mesh. You will see more outfit posts from me rocking kimonos even when it’s no longer a trend.
I have rounded up some of my favorites of this season with direct links for your shopping convenience including the floral one pictured. Enjoy babes!
