Chinatown plays an important role both in Saigon and Bangkok. They are economic powerhouses prominent in the jewelry business in Bangkok whereas Chinatown in Saigon is known for the specialized trade in embellished fabrics.
I love exploring the nooks and crannies of neighborhoods on foot because you can take your time looking at things and watch life as it happens first hand. This also mean I need to dress comfortably. This shift dress was perfect for it. It’s not too short and has fun cut-outs at the side. The shoulders are covered just in case you stumble upon a place of worship and respectfully want to have a peek inside. The bright red print blended in wonderfully with all the bright colors, mainly red, displayed in Chinatown.
